How do you make a good pair of angelic wings?
I've been looking through many websites since last time, but the one bullet that hit through my decision to start planning now is Zander's wings. (i dunno how to link, but Zander is a cosplayer from singapore, and recently appeared as Lucifer from Angel Sanctuary in AFA...i salute those his ability to construct such magnificent and elegant wings)

ANYWAY~~~~
Well, i know this cosplay is still WAAAAAAaaaAAaaayyy long to go..but it never hurts to start early rite?
especially the plannings and draftings....

First of all, i need to decide which type of wing i wanna have...
i think i'll go with the closed up wings..else, i'll be the walking bulldozer of doom during conventions.
(not to say that the Lucifer cosplayer i mentioned up there is a bulldozer..but i know i'm clumsy..i just know it..haha..i'll be knocking over things...LOL)

SO, i've decided to go with the type of wings like yayacosplay's. Only a moment ago i favourite-ed her and well, 70% is to admire the wonderful details of the costumes and wings, and another 50% is to refer to how she made those wonderful pair of angelic wings. (nope, it wasn't a typo....to me, 100% is just the limit...we're meant to reach out and break the limit..LOL)

I hope i could do this alone...i roughly know how to make those wings...it's the harness which leaves me scratching my head. I'm still wondering how to make the harness so that i will have no problem with mobility during events and shoots.
I know this will be another pain-in-the-ass cosplay, but i love that character to bits, and it pains me to give up on him.

This'll probably be my biggest project ever since i started this hobby. Hopefully it'll turn out nice..
(i'm giving this a 2 year ahead plan...)
so within this 2 years, i'll need to
- Build up enough muscles and strength to hold up the gigantic thing mounting on my back
- Lose enough weight so i don't look like a oversized asshole
- improve on my make up?
- save enough $$$ (because i know gigantic wings just don't come cheap...-_-|||)

ok, now i'm off to search for more tutorials..LOL...
